This summer, I met up with Kate and Andrew for their wedding photos to be done in Paris and Chateau de Chantilly. Kate dreamt about this castle pictures for her wedding day and convinced her husband to stop for a couple of days in France on their way to their honeymoon on Maldives. Sounds like a dream, right?

It was a true honour for me to document this very special event: a Silver Wedding Anniversary! 

It was love at first sight at the supermarket in 1991 in the Netherlands. 25 years later Nelda and Klaas came to Paris with their bridal squad to celebrate their 25 years of marriage with chic. We did a photo session at the Eiffel Tower, High Tea at the Alexander III bridge, lunch at the George V Four Seasons Restaurant and dinner in Le Café Marly  at the Louvre Museum all together. 

Can you imagine you with your partner together in the City of Love with your bridesmaids and groomsmen a quarter-century after your wedding day?

Love has no age!

The most exceptional surprise proposal I've shot so far - J.&L. are 73 years old and went to high school together. After school they lived their lives on their own. They met again at their promotion « 50 years » party and felt in love. So after a few « 1st » dates and holidays together, they decided to make it official. J. booked a Paris tour with @parisheritagetours with champagne and macarons, a nice dinner and me to capture the surprise proposal at the most beautiful Parisian bridge - Alexander III. When they arrived at the bridge, J. gave L. a wireless earbud with a meaningful song for both of them and after that he knelt down and asked her to marry him!

The future bride-to-be planned this pre-wedding session for months: prepared multiple outfit changes, discussed with us the best locations to match the looks, booked the luxurious Shangri-La Paris hotel and giant balloons. We definitely did not expect the worst weather ever: it was raining all day long, sometimes with hail and it was very cold. As the couple flew to Paris just for the pre-wedding and had to fly back home on the day after, we could not reschedule the session. So we all tried to do our best to make the most beautiful photos despite the bad weather.

Is their anything more romantic than a vow renewal in Paris? After 7 years of happy marriage these parents of a beautiful little girl thought it would be a great idea to celebrate their love, renew their vows and have some beautiful photos together in Paris. We've chosen some of the most iconic Parisian locations: The Eiffel tower, the Tuilleries Gardens, the Louvre and Palais Royal. For the vow renewal we've chosen an intimate courtyard of the Louvre as it has the truly Parisian architecture. That place is surrounded by history and special atmosphere.

J&G got married at Chateau de Dangu, a beautiful estate in the countryside not far from Paris. Their friends and families came together to celebrate their Big Day from all around the world. The bride looked radiant and elegant in her The Viktor&Rolf wedding gown, perfectly matching elegant and timeless style of the wedding.

What can be more cute than a pink tutu skirt paired with a black top and hills for a quick anniversary session in Paris?

Hayley and James from New York decided to plan a last-minute elopement in Paris. Their wedding day was quite rainy and cold. And guess what? You can't even tell they are cold, because these two are just that good! These two are the sweetest architecture and art lovers I was lucky to meet in Paris! Michelle from Ruffled by Grace officiated their intimate ceremony. And Hayley looked gorgeous in her Vera Wang wedding dress!

Villa Rusconi Clerici is located in the small town of Pallanza on Lake Maggiore. Bright yellow colour and stucco windows of this villa stand out among others. It is surrounded by a luxurious garden. This place is an endless source of inspiration for artists and poets, and for all beauty lovers. Anastasia and Michele had an intimate lemon-themed wedding on a very hot summer day. They flew me from Paris to capture their beautiful day and everything was just perfect!  

This chateau cherry blossom elopement for two is what Spring dreams are made of. Cherry blossoms is my favourite time in Paris and I'm so happy when couples are lucky enough to have their photos done during this period.

This couple being both visual creatives was dreaming about an intimate and special elopement. They've chosen Versailles Gardens with both a very French Chateau and English Countryside vibe. We were lucky with the foggy weather that definitely added something special to their day. The gardens were full of blooming magnolias and cherry trees, wisterias and other spring flowers, providing us with the perfect backdrop for an intimate vow exchange. With the blooming flowers and garden views, these images provide epic inspiration to intimate garden weddings and elopements everywhere.

Autumn pre-wedding session by the Eiffel Tower on a cold winter-like looking day

The possibilities for a destination wedding in Paris are endless. But Carla and Steve exchanged their vows at a very special place – they had the historic Notre-Dame Cathedral in the background. We couldn't be more heartbroken at the images of fire engulfing Notre-Dame later the same day. At the same time we felt blessed to have been able to witness it's eternal beauty and capture this last images of it before the fire. So this day will have a special place in our hearts forever.
