"Delicate French touches and bold statement colours combined to create this elegant and vibrant shoot. This team of French wedding vendors transformed Chateau de Bouffemont into a colourful romantic dream. This stunning editorial took place in a sumptuous and strinking 19th century castle Château de Bouffémont, where elegance meets modernity and you get taken on a magical journey through their magnificent rooms and landscape. The idea was to break from the traditional soft wedding palette and create a bold and modern elegance combined with traditional french ambience that evoked a « 21th century Marie Antoinette bride »
The key features were the opulent, ombre arch and the hand painted 5 tier painted cake. Bold colours with shades of pink, pops of fuschia, soft corals and bright reds were the palette for this gorgeous floral arch and the flower arrangements crafted by Floret France. Whilst opulent in looks the brief was to create a look that surpassed expectations but not the budget so Floret used a mix of high end peonies and garden roses with more affordable carnations to bring decadence on a modest budget. The gorgeous hand painted, 5 tier cake crafted by Sweet Creations Cakes was inspired by Marie Antoinette and this masterpiece when surrounded with the ever so lush garden of wild floral decor and perched on a 19th century fireplace was everything dreams are made of.
Our bride embodies decadence. Both modern and extravagant, she loves cakes and this decadent and dreamy gourmet scene with cake slices is everything a bride could ever dream of. Marie Antoinette had a refined style but wasn't afraid to live life boldly. This shoot shows you that colours can definitely be a girl's best friend."
