Chateau de Baronville Micro-wedding Inspiration

“Romantic, enchanting, modern, timeless, glamorous, luxurious, classic & fresh were the words we used to describe this editorial which we hope will help couples to think differently about an intimate wedding.”

The prestigious venue, Le Chateau de Baronville, welcomes our lovers for an intimate and magical elopement surrounded by their loved ones. This romantic and timeless affair was imaged and designed by Kahina Events together with the photographer Daria Lorman, who perfectly captured every precious moment. Cedric Durand filmed every second of this incredible moment, planned by Samantha Bottelier Events.

Due to the pandemic, weddings need to be smaller, but no matter the guest count, a wedding still carries the same emotions and love. Also, it can allow couples to create two different atmospheres for their lovely day. So our intention with this intimate wedding editorial was to show couples the beauty of the small wedding. The main concern of this editorial was to inspire couples to host their celebrations with lower guest counts while investing in the exquisite details. Even though Chateau de Baronville can host more than 200 people, this editorial shows how a large venue can host an intimate wedding with some creativity.

To show special attention for our guests, we created a welcome basket that includes a selection of macarons, a bottle of the couple’s favorite champagne, French hand soap and honey. The stationery and invitation suite from Silent Word Studio brings fresh and delicate details in the light dusty blue and rose colour palette.

The designer & floral expert, Kahina Events, created an airy and flowy ceremony set-up for a romantic and timeless moment. Our colour palette incorporated beautiful shades of dusty rose, dark rose & old rose. The couple exchanged their vows written inside pretty vow books made by Jolie Design and say a big “Yes, I do” with gorgeous rings from Guesclin.

Our bride wore a beautiful TopBridal Paris dress with floral yellow embroidery details, very elegant and romantic with a colourful bouquet made by Kahina Events. She also wore a pair of heels from Bella Belle Shoes, and drop floral earrings with pearl details and a gorgeous floral crown by Gibson Bespoke. Her romantic makeup & hair look was created by Jiyong from the Modern Bride. The groom wore an intense blue suit with a Bordeaux bow tie by Chris Von Martial.

The concept was to style an intimate and energized table with fresh fruits, so that the bride & groom could imagine themselves being in the Mediterranean with all these shimmering colors. They love the colour, the sun! The yellow tablecloth reminds the details of the bride’s dress. The purple tableware brings a colourful touch for this romantic table. Silent Word Studio’s beautiful menu cards with wax seals and the most unique place cards added the final touch.

The bride is a huge fan of black & white movies and shares her passion with her soulmate. For the evening, we created the feeling of a big gala night entrance with glamour and modern vibes. A black and white colour palette with gold accents incorporated a deep rich green. This majestic reception setting perfectly matched with the indoor room, with sumptuous white columns and black & white tile floor.

The bride changed into a stunning Inbal Dror dress with sequins from Metal Flaque Paris boutique. The hair and makeup artist created a rock glamour look with smoky eyes for a modern bride. She wore luxury black diamond drop earrings to finalise the look.

Our groom changed into a modern Ivory jacquard tuxedo to match with the gala style.

The celebration began with a cocktail hour which reminded the fresh and colourful daytime theme with a jazz band, Jazz Around Midnight, who enchanted the castle with their lovely music.

And finally, no wedding would be complete without a beautiful cake designed by Bouchra Sugar designer from her etherealism collection.
