From Tiffany: "After meeting some of the countless photographers in Paris, we liked Daria Lorman from Paris Happy Pictures the best. Her work displayed on her website and facebook page is extravagant! It is quite evident that she gets to know each couple and photographs them according to their personality and the look they are going for. Daria’s photography skills are beautifully unique in every way. We were so amazed with the clarity, lighting, angles, and poses captured in each photo."
Tiffany visited Paris for the first time in 2011. There is no surprise that was the moment she met her prince charming, Dino, in this City of Love. There is a huge salsa community in Paris and she wanted to dance, however her Parisian friends did not wish to dance. They put her in contact with a mutual friend (Dino) whose passion is playing the guitar and music in general. Dino couldn’t resist Tiffany's beauty and her natural kindness and elegance. He said that Tiffany’s presence put him on a cloud.
There was chemistry and fireworks the instant they met that night ! This tall, bilingual (French and English), charming, well-traveled, intelligent man swept her off of her feet. He accompanied her to dance salsa at the Barrio Latino in Bastille. Dino showed Tiffany Paris by night visiting the Eiffel Tower, La Defense, walking along the Seine River, Les Champs Elysées, eating traditional French food and wandering the romantic streets of Montmartre. According to him, it was love at first sight !
They have been together ever since on this exciting journey of love. Dino has recently proposed to Tiffany at a very intimate restaurant on the beach on the scenic French island of Corsica. He placed a beautiful sapphire ring, Tiffany’s favourite jewel, on her finger to match the blue sea and to remind her of that dreamy day in Corsica. Their summer wedding will be in a castle in the Parisian suburbs.
About this proposal and engagement photo session in Paris :
As part of their wedding preparations, they decided to take their engagement photos in Paris for the following reason: "We love Paris! It is the city where we met and built our relationship. Paris is an open museum. Everything about it is gorgeous, romantic, historic, and picturesque. "
We wanted to show Tiffany's and Dino's personalities in every shot. We started early morning on Trocadero, then heading to Bir-Hakeim bridge and Montmartre area with nice cafés later. We couldn't resist to admire the Eiffel tower view from a typically Parisian apartment at night. I can't wait to shoot their castle wedding next summer.
