Chateau cherry blossom Elopement

Summer and Jesse were dreaming about an intimate and special elopement during cherry blossoms season. Having Japanese origins, it's their favorite flower, so Summer incorporated it in all the elements of their day: starting from her wedding dress till the cake.

Where better to do this than in the groves of the Cherry Blossom trees of the French Château de Sceaux? It is definitely my favorite place during cherry blossoms season!

We were lucky and enjoyed perfect sunny weather. I was very happy for this couple, as cherry blossoms are really unpredictable in Paris and especially this year it started much earlier than usually. But it was still there on the elopement date.

The bride has chosen a vibrant pink and blush pink color palette. Kahina Events perfectly executed her vision with the flowers. Ivy Coussin created beautiful stationary with cherry trees.

Summer was wearing her custom-made gown with cherry blossoms on top and she complemented her look with a hat from a Portuguese brand Luizas, which made it unique as she is.

The couple confirms that choosing Michelle from Ruffled By Grace to officiate their ceremony was one of the best decisions. They both really wanted a ceremony that blended traditional and modern, religious and spiritual elements. Michelle took great care in writing the words she delivered to us on our special day. Michelle thinks that: "Ceremonies are the very best when they are personalised and “tailored” to fit the couple. Your day is yours. With all the abundance and blessings from above, this moment belongs to you. My hope for every couple is that they are able to claim their wedding day the same way they have claimed their love story. My job is to help make that happen. And I was very lucky to be chosen by Jesse and Summer to be able to tell their story."

Bouchra did an amazing job surprising the bride with the cake inspired by both her wedding dress and the location. She used a concentration of technics for combining both couture elements and nature. Watercolor, wafer paper texture, sugar pearl and sugar cherry blossoms made this cake absolutely unique. It was the perfect sweet note to end the day!
