If you are looking for beautiful outdoor shooting locations, Paris is definitely the city where you'll find a lot of nice places. Here are a few of my favourite spots that are good for shoots. Getting around in Paris is very easy: some locations are just walkable distance from each other (like Louvre and Palais Royal), others require the use of a taxi/uber (around 6-10€ per ride).
Jessica and Lorenzo were visiting Paris from Los Angeles, California and they wanted to have their engagement session done in the City of Love. They are such a gorgeous couple and I was tempted to post the whole entire gallery because I have way too many favorites from this day.
I suggested to start early morning at Trocadero to avoid crowds, given that it is one of the most iconic (and obviously one of the busiest) spots in Paris. We started with this green area with the Eiffel Tower view:
After that, we stopped at my favorite Trocadero spot to create elegant fine art images that are filled with poetic intimacy:
We couldn't resist having a few sitting poses here:
To finish with the Eiffel Tower location, we had a few pictures taken at the gorgeous staircase:
After the Eiffel Tower we moved to the most beautiful bridge in Paris - Alexander III bridge, famous for its elegant architecture, golden details and beautiful lamps. It offers a lot of beautiful angles for your engagement or wedding photos in Paris.
This cute alley is just next to the bridge and is especially beautiful in autumn when the leaves change colour from green to yellow. Though, it looks really nice in summer too.
After that, we moved to a cafe next to Palais Royal to have a tea and coffee pause, change outfits and create beautiful memories in a typical Parisian café.
Palais-Royal is just a few steps away from this café and it offers it's gorgeous picturesque 17th century French Palace architecture as well as a nice garden.
At the end of our morning part of the shoot, we went to Notre-Dame and Ile (Island) St Louis, before heading to lunch.
Later - in the evening - Jessica and Lorenzo changed their outfits for a more smart casual style. Jessica also had a different makeup and hair look. And we met again at the Louvre, which is my favorite location for the night part of an engagement photoshoot in Paris.
